Suzette Bartlett, LCSW

Suzette is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in social work from Brigham Young University.

Suzette is passionate about therapy and the journey that takes place within it. She has a deep belief that people have the capability to work through trauma and abuse to find healing and relief.

Suzette has worked in residential and outpatient treatment centers as well as private practice settings. She worked at Utah County Division of Substance Abuse where she worked with women who struggled with addiction. While working with these women she addressed a variety of issues on a daily basis including sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, assertiveness, self-esteem, healthy relationships, and boundary setting. Over the past several years Suzette has also conducted Play Therapy, EMDR, and Filial Therapy with children who have trauma and attachment issues.

In addition to working at Aspen Therapy, Suzette works at ScenicView Academy where she works with adults with learning disabilities, autism and asperger's.  While at ScenicView, Suzette and her colleagues developed a program that is designed to teach adults with autism and asperger’s appropriate social skills. Suzette has had the opportunity to present this program at several local, state, national, and international conferences.

    Currently at Aspen Therapy Suzette specializes in working with adults and children but will work with all ages and issues that come through the door. Suzette enjoys working with people who strive to improve themselves and truly respects those willing to address difficult issues through therapy.
